In order to change the old, boring icons of the main buttons "My Computer", "My Documents", "Full Trash", "Empty Trash" and "Network Neighborhood", you will need new icons

Step 1
First, determine where you will download your new creative icons. This place should be convenient for you. For example, you can use disk D for this purpose. Create a new folder on this disk for creative icons, for example, "My new icons".
Step 2
Search the web for icons to your liking, download them and save them to a new folder.
Step 3
Go to your desktop. Right-click anywhere on the desktop.

A new window will open in front of you, click on the "Properties" menu in it.

In the next window, click on the "Desktop" tab, and then on the "Desktop Settings" tab.

After that, you will see the icons. Select the icon you want to replace with a new one and click on the "Change Icon" option.

In the new window, click on the "Browse" option, and select the icon in the "My new icons" folder with which you want to replace the old one. The old icon will disappear, a new one will appear in its place, and it will be added to your desktop.
