Step 1
A twisted pair cable is a special cable with RJ-45 connectors. It is one of the most inexpensive cables for networking today. The first step is to choose the route that the twisted pair will take from a computer with a router that is connected to the Internet to other computers in the house. Try to choose a route so that the cable does not have to bend too much at the corners.
Step 2
If you plan to run the twisted pair cable to more than one computer, you will need a switch. It brings together all computers that are connected to the network. It is to the switch that all cables converge. Based on the route to be laid, measure how many meters of twisted pair you need.
Step 3
If you just need to connect two computers using a twisted pair or connect another computer to a router, then the twisted pair must be pulled directly from one computer to another. The best way is to run the cable along the walls. Much depends on your apartment or house. After all, it is not very aesthetically pleasing when the cable is clearly visible. You can buy a special decorative box that is attached over the baseboard with special fastening devices. All this, of course, will lead to additional costs, so it is up to you to leave the cable on the surface or hide it in a box. When you decide exactly how to run the cable so as not to spoil the design, all that remains is to stretch it from one computer to another.

If the twisted pair will connect several computers, then first install the switch at approximately the same distance from each of them. In this case, you do not have to pull the cable from one PC to another, you only need to stretch the twisted pair from each of the computers to this switch and connect the RJ-45 connector to its interface.
