The touch laser keyboard is a compact device that can be installed on any flat surface. It projects an image of a keyboard onto it, on which you can type, like on a real one. The camera built into the device monitors the fingers, and the processor, interpreting this information, emulates keystrokes.
Instructions
Step 1
Install the drivers on the smartphone with which you are going to use the keyboard. Please note that a Java-only mobile phone will not work even if it has a Bluetooth interface. Find the installation file on the disk supplied with the keyboard or on the manufacturer's website: for Symbian - with the SIS or SISX extension, for Android - APK, for Windows Mobile - CAB. Copy this file to your phone's memory card and then install from its file manager. Some fairly modern models of smartphones, in particular, Symbian ones, are able to work with such a keyboard without installing additional programs.
Step 2
If you use an iPhone or a device on Windows Phone 7, and it is supported by the keyboard manufacturer, you can download the program for working with it only from the official store of the OS developer, using, respectively, iTunes or Zune Software, and in the absence of those, using the phone itself. Before connecting to the mobile Internet, make sure that you are in your home network, the access point (APN) is configured correctly, and the tariff is unlimited.
Step 3
Depending on the touch keyboard model, install batteries or charge the battery. Position the device so that the lens of the built-in projector is directed towards the table. The latter must be matte. Turn on its power. Adjust the position of the projector so that the virtual keyboard image is positioned as you like.
Step 4
Press the phone pairing button on the device. On the phone itself, enter Bluetooth pairing mode (the way to enter it depends on the OS you are using). Start auto search for devices, and among those that will be detected, select your keyboard. Enter the access PIN specified in the instructions for it.
Step 5
Launch a text editor, browser, etc. on your phone. Make sure your phone responds to virtual touch keys.
