There are several ways to achieve the desired result, but all of these methods are not very reliable, and sometimes completely useless or even damage your equipment. But if you want to experiment with your hardware, then the cards are in your hands, or rather, video cards.

BIOS setup. Unfortunately, not all video cards support this feature. And not all BIOS versions have the ability to control the memory and frequency of the video card. It is impossible to tell in more detail about this method, since the location of this option is different in all BIOSes, you just have to find this function yourself. The only thing that can be suggested is that you need to look for a line with the name of the port of your video card (PCI-e, AGP), the word memory or others, everywhere in different ways. But before looking for this function, you need to read on the forums whether it is in your BIOS version and whether the video card supports "overclocking" through BIOS.
Step 2
Increasing the amount of video memory due to RAM (hereinafter referred to as RAM or RAM). Almost all manufacturers of video cards (both removable and integrated) offer this feature. What is the principle of this method? For example, there is a video card from the N-th manufacturer with 512 MB of memory, but this manufacturer left us a "reserve" for further increase by another ~ 200-400 MB. By adding an additional 2 GB of RAM to the computer, we will potentially increase the video memory by 200-400 MB. The magnification is automatic, so there is no need to enter any settings. The disadvantage of this method is in some cases a very small performance gain.
Step 3
"Overclocking" of the video card with special programs. This is not exactly an increase in video memory, but the performance increases significantly. WARNING: all further actions you perform at your own peril and risk, overclocking can "kill" your video card. You can download the programs from the network, or you can find them on the disc that came with the video card. Let's talk about one (probably the most effective) program for overclocking nVidia video cards. It's called Riva Tuner. Run the program, look under the item "driver settings" for the "configure" button, then "system settings". An overclocking window with sliders will open. You can increase all items, but especially you need to change the settings of the "Core frequency" and "Memory frequency" sliders. Move them carefully, little by little, when finished, click the apply button. Then reboot and test with 3D Mark or similar.
Step 4
The most radical method is for professionals or for those who want to tickle their nerves. Video memory is the chips on the board. To increase it, you can solder new chips with more memory. But whoever has ever seen a microcircuit with a hundred legs will understand that it is better to buy a new, more powerful video card.
