Step 1
If the problems encountered do not prevent the OS from booting, restore it to its previous state using one of the restore points created by Windows before the problem occurred. To do this, open the "Control Panel" and select the "Recovery" section. In the window that appears, click the "Next" button and select from the available restore points the one that was made with a normally working system. If, after recovery, a message appears that the operation was completed successfully, then the goal has been achieved.

Sometimes the system fails to restore its previous state. A message about this appears in the window after loading. It also happens that the restore function is disabled. In these cases, try adjusting the system manually. Uninstall the programs and drivers that caused the problem to be installed.

Drivers are removed in the "Device Manager", which can be launched by opening the "Control Panel". In the list of devices in the Manager, select the one for which the drivers were installed before the problems occurred. Right-click on it and select the "Properties" option. In the window that opens, open the "Driver" tab and click the "Uninstall" button. After that, restart your computer and install another driver, or work on the one that the system will install on its own at boot.

The programs that caused the crashes are removed using the Programs and Features utility launched from the Control Panel. Find the one that caused the crash in the list of installed programs and remove it.

In the event that the system did not cope with its task, select the second item, which provides for system recovery using a restore point - what you did in step 1. If this method was unsuccessful, use the following items - "System Image Restore" or "Command Line".

It is possible that attempts to restore the system using Windows RE will be unsuccessful. Then try to reinstall the OS without formatting the hard drive. This option is effective if the disk has two partitions. Having installed the OS on a free - not the one on which the system to be restored - is located, you can boot into it and make changes to the system that needs to be restored. In particular, remove the conflicting driver from the / drivers / folder or the problematic program from the / Program Files / folder.
