Most role-playing computer games support multiplayer games on two or more computers. At the same time, players can be both in the same room and thousands of kilometers from each other. The main thing is that their computers are connected by a common network. The essence of a multiplayer game is connecting several client computers to one server - the computer that starts the game. In the strategy "Heroes of Might and Magic", the implemented interface allows you to start a multiplayer game directly by means of the application itself.

Instructions
Step 1
Launch the game "Heroes of Might and Magic" using the executable file from the application directory or using the shortcut on the desktop. In the main menu of the program, select the items "New Game" and "MultiPlayer". Launched mode will allow you to create a server to start multiplayer games.
Step 2
Enter your character's name in the line at the bottom of the MultiPlayer window. To establish a connection and play via the TCP / IP network, click the "TCP / IP" button in this window. A new window will appear for setting the connection parameters.
Step 3
In this window, click on the "HOST" button to open a new session of the network game. Enter the name and password of the session in the appropriate fields of the dialog that appears. To apply the specified game parameters, click the checkmark button. The session will be created and the program will automatically go to the stage of choosing the scenario of the game.
Step 4
Set the scenario and parameters of the heroes you need, select the flag of your character. After that start the game by pressing the "BEGIN" button.
Step 5
The rest of the players join your game scenario. They need to find the session you created. To do this, at the connection stage in the "TCP / IP" window, you need to click the button for searching the server computer by its IP address and the specified session password. After entering the specified data and starting the search, all active scripts from your server computer will be displayed in the session list. By choosing the desired one, any player will connect to the multiplayer game you have created.
