System failure is always not a small problem. It becomes impossible to work at the computer, as it starts to slow down, does not open the necessary programs, and hangs. Most often this happens due to an infiltrated virus, but there may be other reasons.
Necessary
Injured computer, internet access
Instructions
Step 1
When you turn on the computer before it is fully loaded, you must press the "Delete" button or F2 if you have a laptop. You will be taken to the Bios Setup menu.
Step 2
In the dialog box, you need to find the function of optimal BIOS settings: "Load Optimized Defaults". Activate it using the arrows on your keyboard and the "Enter" key.
Step 3
Press "F10" and then "Enter". Done, BIOS settings restored.
Step 4
In order to avoid a recurrence of the problem, you should install a reliable antivirus that will automatically update and check files downloaded from the Internet.
Step 5
It will not hurt to take such a measure as creating an image of the system disk (most often it is the C drive). As a rule, this can be done immediately after installing the operating system. To create a backup, go to this path: "Start" -> "All Programs" -> "Accessories" -> "System Tools" -> "Back Up Data". When you start this function for the first time, you should uncheck the box "Always run as a wizard", since you must perform all the actions yourself. Then go back to archiving, but without the wizard. To do this, in the window for selecting drives and folders to copy, find "Documents and Settings", "Program Files" and "Windows". The “System State” item should also be noted.
Step 6
The next step is to select a disk where the archive should be placed - a backup. Give this file a name. It remains only to start the archiving.
