If, when typing on a laptop keyboard, you feel the warmth that the keys seem to breathe, or hear a strange noise, reminiscent of an airplane taking off, it's time to disassemble the laptop and clean it from dust. And for this it is not necessary to go to the salon and pay money - you can do it yourself at home.
Cleaning your laptop from dust is not as difficult as it might seem. Although, if you have not dealt with such work before, it is natural that you are afraid of damaging or doing something wrong.
Parsing
Depending on the manufacturer and model of the laptop, the parsing process can take place in different ways, but the principle itself always remains the same.
First of all, you need to disconnect the computer from the power and remove the battery. Then unscrew the screws - usually there are a lot of them, and in some cases they also turn out to be different - small and large. In order not to confuse anything and not to face such a situation during assembly when the screws do not want to fall into place, do the following: sketch on an ordinary A4 sheet a diagram of the location of the screws on the bottom panel of the laptop. And then put each screw to be removed in the place designated for it.
When all the screws are on the sheet, carefully remove the bottom panel of the laptop. Watch out for the drive and the openings for the headphones and USB ports to avoid accidentally ripping them off the motherboard.
Cleaning
The laptop has coolers and heatsinks that cool these coolers. In order for the laptop to stop heating up as if it was put on a stove, you need to clean all this stuff.
To do this, you need to disconnect the cooler from the motherboard and unscrew the heatsinks from the case. This is done differently in different models, but, as already noted, the principle is the same. In laptops, fans are usually fixed with 4 screws - you need to unscrew them crosswise. Because if you unscrew 2 bolts on one side, the pressure of the other two can break off a piece of the processor or video card for you.
When all the fans are at your complete disposal, clean them of large pellets of dust with a regular art brush (not a paintbrush), and then "vacuum" the radiator.
In principle, this can be finished. But since you have a brush in your hands, then lightly walk it through all the available details.
Inclusion
Now it's time to put the parts in their places and tighten the screws. Remember to twist the radiator screws crosswise to avoid pressure on one side. When replacing the bottom panel of the laptop, make sure that there are no distortions, that is, the lid is firmly seated in its original place. Tighten the screws just as much as necessary - do not overtighten or use force. After all, you are dealing with a fragile technical device.
The last step is to turn on the laptop. If you put everything in its place and connected the disconnected coolers to the board, then there will be no problems. If the laptop does not want to turn on or starts to give alarms ("screen of death", buzzing, etc.), do not make independent attempts to fix the problem - it is better to take it to a service center.
