Step 1
When you connect any device to the sockets of the sound card, a window appears on the screen in which you must specify a certain parameter. For example, when connecting an audio system to someone else's jack (for a microphone), you must select the type of device and its purpose. It should be noted that for the subwoofer, you must specify the type of speakers that are used as the main (center channel).

Then go to the sound driver settings. To do this, double-click on the speaker icon in the system tray (system panel), you will see the "General volume" window. This applet can be called through the "Control Panel", run the item "Sounds and Audio Devices" and on the "Audio" tab, click the "Volume" button. Here you can change the volume settings for the system sound, as well as for individual items, for example, "Sound", "Synthesized sound", "CD", etc.

If you did not see the element you need, you can add it. Click the top menu "Settings" ("Options") and select the command "Properties". In the window that opens, select the required parameters and put a checkmark next to it, then click the "OK" button. You can also uncheck unused parameters.
Step 4
Now return to the "General Volume" window and set the values of the selected parameters to the maximum value by moving the slider up. Please note that next to each parameter there is a check-box "Off". If there is a mark in it, it must be removed, because this option completely mutes the sound.
Step 5
Launch any music player and check for the highest possible sound. To do this, scroll the slider to the extreme right position using the mouse wheel or by grabbing the slider itself with the pointer. If you have a multimedia keyboard, you can adjust the sound level using special keys.
