Step 1
On the toolbar, select the "Insert" menu item, then "Movies and Sound". You will see a window with the ability to insert a sound file. Select the desired audio track from the list and click "OK". After the window closes, the program will offer you to launch the selected file automatically when loading the presentation. If you are satisfied with this, click the "Yes" button. In any other case, a direct command from the user will be required to start the music. This is done in the following way.
Step 2
Open the Slide Show menu, then select Animation Settings. Select the name of the sound file you are interested in in the task pane and make settings for it. You will see an arrow to the right of the file - click on it. A menu will appear in front of you, in which you can configure the launch parameters and the playback time of the sound file. You can add animation to your presentation to make it even more interesting. Its parameters are configured in the same window. By varying the settings, you can customize the order in which multiple objects are displayed.
Step 3
Select the file name, then click on the "Animation Settings" menu item. Click on the arrow to the right of the file. After that, select the "Effect Parameters" item that appears in the window. Go to the Finish section and specify the number of slides for which the selected music should play. Then click the "OK" button. You can add a song to your presentation. A well-chosen song will add mood and focus the viewer's attention to the video sequence.
Step 4
Choose files with the correct extension. To insert a song into a presentation, an audio file must have the following extensions: wav, mp3, wma. The first of the listed is the most voluminous, so it is more expedient to use the remaining two. If you only need a melody in your presentation and want to make it "weigh" as little as possible, insert a midi file.
