When drawing up drawing documents, it is necessary to comply with certain standards that determine both the format of the drawing and the rules for the design of each element. These standards facilitate the storage of drawing documents and provide numerous conveniences.
Instructions
Step 1
These conveniences include speed in reading the drawing, which is created using a well-formed frame and title block. The frame limits the drawing field and is applied within the format boundaries. Typical formats in the drawing documentation system are A4, A3, A2, A1 and A0, as well as additional formats. In the educational process, A4-type formats with side dimensions of 210 by 297 mm are most often used.
Step 2
The frame is applied with a hard or hard-soft pencil and begins by drawing a line along the left edge of the sheet. Regardless of whether the sheet is vertical or horizontal, draw a line 20 mm from the left edge. In the future, the sheet will be used for stitching and archival storage.
Step 3
Draw lines of the same thickness on the right, bottom and top sides of the sheet, backing from the edge a distance of 5 mm. After applying the frame, you can proceed to the design of the stamp, which contains the main inscriptions. The main inscriptions include the name of the drawing, the scale of the drawing, the explication and other data about the depicted product.
Step 4
When making production drawings in A4 format, place the sheet strictly vertically, and the inscription only along the short side. When drawing up a drawing on sheets of other formats or for educational purposes, place the inscription both along the short and along the long side of the sheet.
Step 5
When applying the title block, place the stamp in the lower corner of the right side of the sheet. To do this, draw a rectangle with the dimensions set in accordance with the requirements of GOST.
