Step 1
A quick turn-on can be ensured by knowing only one key on your keyboard - this is the English letter P. Why this letter? Projector in English is spelled Projector. Most of the hotkey combinations in the Windows line of systems are formed from word abbreviations. For example, to open a file, use the keyboard shortcut Ctrl + O (Open), to save, Ctrl + S (Save). Thus, the keyboard shortcut Win + P is used to switch to the projector. If you don't know where the Windows key is, take a look at the key between the Ctrl and alt="Image" keys (from the image of the Microsoft logo).
Step 2
When you press this key combination, a small window will appear in front of you, which contains 4 parameters:
- only a computer;
- duplicate;
- expand;
- projector only.
Everything is clear with the first point - this is the standard mode. Duplicate monitor - the projector will display all the actions that you perform on the desktop. When using a second monitor instead of a projector, select Expansion mode. This mode will allow you to perform multiple tasks. You will work with one monitor, and the child can watch their favorite cartoons on another monitor.
Step 3
The last mode is intended only for viewing the image on the projector. This mode is convenient in that the main monitor remains off, which saves the laptop battery power.
