There are two main ways to connect multiple home computers to the Internet. In the first case, you need to conclude the required number of contracts with the provider, and in the second, you need to purchase, install and configure special equipment.

Step 1
Select a Wi-Fi router. Pay attention to the presence of the connector you need to connect the provider's cable. If you are using a telephone line, you will need a DSL router. To connect via a dedicated channel, you need an Internet or WAN connector.
Step 2
Review the documentation included with your mobile computers. Check the types of wireless networks these devices work with. Select a Wi-Fi router based on the information received.
Step 3
Install the equipment in the desired location. Connect the internet cable to an appropriate port. Despite the identity of the LAN and WAN connectors, you need to connect the network cable to the second one.
Step 4
Turn on the mobile computer from which the router will be configured. Connect its network card to the LAN port of the device using a direct crimp patch cord. Turn on your Wi-Fi router and laptop.
Step 5
Open a web browser. Enter the IP address of the network equipment and press Enter. Wait a while until the connection with the equipment is established and the interface of its settings opens.
Step 6
Go to the Internet Settings menu. It can often be called WAN. Set the parameters required for a successful connection to the provider's server. Remember that you need to correctly select the type of connection, enter your username and password. Save the settings by clicking the corresponding button.
Step 7
Open the Wireless Settings (Wi-Fi) menu. Change the parameters of the router by selecting the desired values. In this case, you should start from the characteristics of mobile computers. It is best to use a mixed type of radio channel to expand the range of equipment that can work with your router.
Step 8
Reboot the device after completing its configuration. Connect mobile computers to a Wi-Fi hotspot.
