Step 1
Before creating a particular account, the user has a choice: assign administrator rights or not. As a rule, the first option is preferred, because a person at a computer not only views multimedia information, but also creates it by installing various utilities. An administrator account is required to complete these steps.
Step 2
When this account is lost, on the welcome screen you can only see icons for guest accounts and other administrative records, if such were created in advance. Using such a record, you can restore the main administrative record.
Step 3
Often, the administrative record is lost during sudden power outages, this is due to the peculiarity of using the file system. But only the entry is deleted, and all directories and files remain in place, so you need to leave the current session. To do this, open the "Start" menu, select the "Logout" button, and then "Logout" again.
Step 4
In the current window, press the key combination Ctrl + alt="Image" + Del twice. Select or enter Administrator, not forgetting to specify the password for this account. This is the easiest way, but not the best - you will have to constantly refer to this dialog box.
Step 5
To avoid this situation, you must assign a password to an existing active administrative account or set the option to automatically display all users. To do this, open the Start menu and select Run. In the blank field, enter the regedit command and press Enter on your keyboard.
Step 6
In the Registry Editor window that appears, open the following directories sequentially: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE, SOFTWARE, Microsoft, Windows NT, CurrentVersion, Winlogon, SpecialAccounts, UserList. Inside this directory, create a new DWORD value, head it Administrator, and set the value to 1.
