If there is more than one operating system on the hard drive, the computer at startup offers the choice of the operating system to load. If you rarely need an additional operating system, removing the choice of operating system is quite simple - you need to go to the system settings of the operating system you are using.

Instructions
Step 1
Bring up the properties window of your computer. This can be done by right-clicking on the "My Computer" shortcut. Find the item "Advanced system settings" and start this window. You can also double-click the right mouse button on the shortcut "My Computer", thereby opening it. A window will appear in front of you, which will show a list of all media and local drives on the personal computer. Right-click and select Properties.
Step 2
In the Advanced System Settings window, find the Options button under the Startup and Recovery section under the Advanced tab. The necessary window for configuring the system boot parameters will open. Examine the list of systems and select the one that boots by default. Uncheck the box next to "Display a list of operating systems" or set this parameter to 0 seconds. Click "OK" to close this setup window.
Step 3
Click "Apply" and then "OK" for the changes you made to the operating system start parameters to take effect. Restart your computer to test the result in practice. To revert back to the list of possible operating systems that you can boot, go back to the above boot configuration resources. Please note that when you delete system files of an inactive system, it will remain in the list of bootable systems, but it will not boot or display an error, depending on the level of damage to the system files.
Step 4
If you want to completely remove the annoying entries in the computer about the presence of a second operating system, completely format the hard drive of the computer and reinstall the operating system again, downloading new drivers and software for the computer.
