Considering the fact that the protection of the Windows operating system is still far from perfect, it is not difficult to gain access to a corrupted laptop or computer.

Step 1
Let's consider the option of removing the password on a laptop as a whole. The password entry window appears at the initial stage of the device boot, even before Windows boots. If you know this password and just want to disable it, then press Del or F2 (depending on the version of the motherboard) when starting the laptop, enter the password and enter the BIOS. Select "Change Password" or Change Password, enter the old password, and save the changes.
Step 2
You can also reset the password mechanically. Remove the laptop's bottom cover by unscrewing a few screws. Find a small pill-shaped battery. Remove it from the socket and close the contacts. This can be done with the screwdriver you used to disassemble the laptop. Replace the battery and turn on the laptop.

If we are talking about the password set to enter the operating system, then you need to perform a certain series of actions. It should be noted right away that this method is intended only for Windows XP and earlier OS versions, since when Windows Vista and Windows Seven were created, this "hole" was fixed. Restart your computer by pressing the Reset button. You will see a window with a choice of options for loading the system. Select "Windows Safe Mode".
Step 4
When the operating system boots into safe mode, you will see a window with several accounts, among which there will be a new account named "Administrator". A password for this user should not be set. Sign in to the operating system using this account.
Step 5
Open the "Control Panel" and find the item "User Accounts". Select "Manage Another Account". Select your account and click "Remove Password". Restart your computer normally and log in using your old account.
