Step 1
As an example, consider the options for installing the Windows Seven operating system from start to finish. Open the DVD drive and mount the installation disc containing the Windows 7 archives into it.

Restart your computer and press the Del key. The main BIOS menu will open in front of you. Find Boot Device Priority. Using keyboard manipulations, move the drive to the first line (First Boot Device).
Step 3
Find the Save & Exit item and click on it. The computer will reboot and after a while the screen will display Press any key to boot from CD. Press any key.
Step 4
Select the language for installing the operating system. I would like to draw your attention to the following nuance: the currently selected language will apply only to the installation program, and not to the operating system itself. If during the installation process you plan to use the command line, then it is more logical to immediately specify English in the keyboard layout parameters.
Step 5
Select the hard disk partition where the OS will be installed. If you need to create a new logical disk, then click the "Disk Setup" button. Select the hard drive you want to partition and click the "Delete" button.
Step 6
Create two (or more) new sections. Please note that for a successful installation of Windows 7 and a certain set of programs, it is recommended to select a partition that is larger than 30 GB.
Step 7
Proceed with the installation of the operating system. Set the date and time, create a new user, which will be the main user in the future, configure the firewall settings.
Step 8
During the entire Windows 7 installation process, the computer will restart three times. The first time you start your computer with a ready-to-run OS, be sure to install an antivirus. Do not postpone this action, because some types of viruses can infect the system at the very moment when you start installing third-party programs.
