Instructions

Step 1

Considering that any free space in the cheat sheet will be superfluous when opening a Word document, the first thing to do is adjust the size of the margins. To do this, go to the Page Layout tab and click the arrow button under the Fields thumbnail in the Page Setup section. Select Custom Fields from the drop-down menu.

Step 2

A new dialog box will open. On the "Fields" tab, in the group of the same name, enter values slightly more than "0" (for example, 0, 4). Avoid the null value, otherwise some of the text may be outside the printable area. Click on the OK button to save the changes.

Step 3

Then you can do it in several ways: either arrange each cheat sheet in a separate cell of the table, or divide the sheet into columns. To draw a table, go to the Insert tab. In the "Tables" section, click on the arrow button under the "Table" thumbnail. Use the layout to designate the required number of columns and rows, or create your own table by clicking on the item "Draw table".

Step 4

If it is more convenient for you to work with text in columns, open the Page Layout tab. In the "Page setup" section, expand the context menu of the "Columns" tool and specify the number of columns you need per sheet. Or select the "Other Columns" item, a new dialog box will open in which you can set the number of columns and adjust the spacing between them.

Step 5

Enter the text you want and resize it. To reduce the size of letters, select the required piece of text, open the "Home" tab, in the "Font" section, use the drop-down list in the "Font size" field to set the desired value. Experiment with different values. The font should be small, but at the same time, it should be easy to read.

Step 6

Correct the text that has shifted after editing the document and send it to print. You can also make a cheat sheet in another way: set the desired print parameters without changing the font size and without dividing the page into columns.

Step 7

From the File menu, select Print. A dialog box will open. In the Scale group, expand the Pages Per Sheet menu and select the desired number - 2, 4, 6, 8, or 16. Send your document to print.
