Created entirely in Photoshop, wrinkles can be defined with a small, hard brush. If you don't have a tablet at your disposal, and you want to get a photorealistic collage, you can achieve a good result by superimposing wrinkles on the image taken from another photo.
It is necessary
- - Photoshop program;
- - image;
- - photo with wrinkles.
Instructions
Step 1
Open both images in a graphics editor and place the photo with the wrinkles on top of the image you want to superimpose. To do this, you can turn on the Move Tool and drag the picture with wrinkles into the window with the processed image. Another way to get the same result is to select the wrinkled image with the All option on the Select menu, copy it with the Copy option on the Edit menu, and paste it into another document with the Paste option.
Step 2
Using the Transform group options of the Edit and Move Tool menus, align the position of the wrinkles with the face you are applying them to. Hide the extra details on the top layer with a mask. To do this, apply the Reveal All option in the Layer Mask group of the Layer menu, turn on the Brush Tool, click on the mask and paint over the areas of the image that you want to hide with black. In order to create a smooth transition between the top and bottom layers, decrease the value of the Hardness parameter in the brush settings.
Step 3
It may turn out that the wrinkles in the image are not enough to overlay all the necessary areas of the edited picture. In this case, copy the visible area of the image with wrinkles to a new layer by loading the selection with the Load Selection option of the Select menu. In the Channel list, select the item with the name of the layer and the word Mask as the source of selection. Use the Layer via Copy option in the New group of the Layer menu to create a new layer. If this option is not available, click on the thumbnail of the image on the layer with the mask.
Step 4
Using the Clone Tool, paint the wrinkles where they are not enough. To do this, click on the area with wrinkles while holding alt="Image" on your keyboard. Copy pixels from the specified source to a free area of the layer. Turn off the visibility of the layer with wrinkles and mask and reduce the opacity of the copy of the layer with wrinkles to forty to fifty percent, using the Opacity slider in the layers palette.
Step 5
If the area with wrinkles is different in color from other parts of the face, tint it with a photo filter. To do this, use the Photo Filter option of the New Adjustment Layer group of the Layer menu to add a new adjustment layer to the document. In the filter settings window, enable the Color item. Select the skin color in the photo as the filter color.
Step 6
To constrain the area of influence of the adjustment layer, edit its mask. To do this, go to the layer with wrinkles and load a selection using the transparency of this layer as a source. Use the Invert option on the Select menu to invert the selection. Go to an adjustment layer and fill its mask with black in the selection.
