A laptop is convenient in that it can be easily carried from place to place and access the Internet if necessary. You can connect to the network wirelessly, Wi-Fi, if available.
Instructions
Step 1
Make sure you are within range of a Wi-Fi network. To do this, you need to see if there is a Wi-fi Zone sign nearby, for example, in a cafe, airport or shopping center. Also, a Wi-Fi network can be carried out at home or at work with the help of a provider.
Step 2
Turn on your laptop and wait for the operating system to load. Connect the wireless adapter. Usually on the front of the laptop there is an indicator with a corresponding icon, which indicates that it is ready. You can enable Wi-Fi mode through the system device manager, having previously installed the drivers for the adapter. Also, usually turns on and off the Wi-Fi mode one of the function keys F1-F12, which has a corresponding figure.
Step 3
Wait until the adapter finds all available internet connection points. After that, the corresponding icon will appear on the taskbar. Click on it and select the appropriate network. For example, if you are in a cafe, you will most likely see a network icon with its name. Click on the icon and click "Connect".
Step 4
Enter the security key if you are entering an encrypted network. Such connection points are usually installed in apartments and offices on a paid basis, and the password protects them from unauthorized access by unauthorized persons. Check with your provider for the required login details. Open the installed browser and try to go to any site.
