Turning off keyboard click sounds varies from device to device, although the general behavior remains largely the same. Keyboard sounds are standard on all mobile devices and therefore can be turned on or off by the user as desired.
Instructions
Step 1
To turn off iPhone keyboard click sounds, open the "Settings" menu on the main page of your mobile device and select the "Sounds" section. The last line in the list of sound settings is “Keyboard clicks”. Move the toggle to the Inactive position and wait for the color of the toggle to change from blue to gray.
Step 2
Press the volume key with the down arrow symbol located at the end of the device in the Samsung Wave phone based on the Bada platform to turn off key sounds. Wait for the volume slider to appear on the screen of the mobile device and move it to position 0.
Step 3
Open the main menu "Start" of the Samsung SGH-i900 WiTu (Omnia) phone and go to the "Settings" item to change the settings for the keyboard sounds. Expand the Sounds and Notifications link and uncheck the Screen Taps and Device Buttons lines.
Step 4
The general principle of disabling keyboard sounds for smartphones running Windows Mobile is to use the Settings item in the main Start menu. Depending on the model of the device, some items may have different names, but the principle does not change. Go to the personal settings section and expand the "Phone" link. Select "Keyboard" and apply the checkbox in the "Disabled" line.
Step 5
In most Nokia phone models, expand the Settings section and expand the Signals link. Then move the volume slider to 0.
Step 6
Some LG phone models require a different approach. They need to call the main menu of the device, and then go to the "Profiles" section. Expand the "General" link in the opened profile catalog and select the "Configure" command. Set the volume of the keyboard sounds to 0 in the Key volume position.
