Depending on what task is currently being performed, a different level of brightness is required from the laptop screen. For example, if the laptop is used in daylight, the brightness of the laptop should be higher to make the picture on the screen easier to distinguish. In the case of using the laptop in the evening in a dark room, the brightness of the laptop should be slightly lower so that the screen light does not blind the eyes. The brightness of the laptop is changed in various ways.
Instructions
Step 1
The easiest way to change the brightness of a laptop screen is to use the special keys located on its keyboard. These keys work in almost all operating systems and are independent of special drivers. As a rule, these keys are hot keys, that is, they work exclusively in combination with a special Fn key, which allows you to change the functions of the keys. This is done specifically in order to give one key several functions, which saves a lot of space.
Step 2
The brightness of the screen can also be changed using the Control Panel in Windows, or its equivalent in alternative operating systems. You can change the brightness of the screen by selecting the tab (or shortcut) named "Display". You can adjust the brightness in this way using a special slider, the position of which changes to the left and right (or up and down).
Step 3
The third way to change the brightness of the laptop screen is to use special programs supplied with the drivers of the laptop video card. The icons of this kind of programs, as a rule, "hang" in the system tray. The brightness of the screen is also changed using the sliders. However, this method "loses" a lot in the convenience of the method using special keys located on the laptop keyboard.
