Step 1
Before viruses are removed, they must be detected. To do this, go to the menu of your antivirus by double-clicking the left mouse button on its icon on the taskbar. In the antivirus menu, select the "PC scan" item, and in it - the "Custom scan" item. In the next menu, you need to select the scan objects. Check all local drives and RAM. If you have virtual optical drives, check them as well. After all objects to be scanned are selected, click "Scan".
Step 2
The antivirus will start the process of scanning the system. If viruses are found, this will be reported in the scan log. Found infected files will not be deleted automatically. Wait for the computer scan process to complete. Scanning a PC can significantly slow down the system, so it is not recommended to take any action at this moment.
Step 3
After the operation is completed, the event log will open. This log will contain a list of infected files that the antivirus found. Study it. If you don't need the file, delete it. To do this, simply select "Delete" from the menu of possible actions. In this way, delete all infected files that you do not need.
Step 4
If too many infected files were found, it would be more logical to delete them together. Just go through the list of files, save the necessary files by adding them to quarantine. There they will be isolated and will not interfere with the operation of the system. Later you can try to cure them or copy the necessary information. All other infected files that you do not need can be deleted in one go. To do this, select "Delete All". This way you will save time. Now all infected files have been deleted, and the files you need are available in quarantine. If necessary, they can be removed from quarantine at any time.
