Instructions

Step 1

Swipe left on the Windows Phone home page to bring up the list of apps and go to Settings to turn off messages about new networks found.

Step 2

Select Wi-Fi and uncheck the Notify me when new networks are found box.

Download and install the free PHM Registry Editor on your Windows Mobile device to disable base station notifications.

Open the application and expand the HKEY_CURRENT_USERControlPanel registry key.

Expand the Edit menu and select the Create New Key command.

Step 6

Enter CellBroadcast in the Name field and expand the created folder.

Step 7

Specify the New DWORD Value command and enter the CBMEnable values in the Value Name field and 0 in the Value Data field.

Re-create the new DWORD and enter Enable values in the Value Name field and 0 in the Value Data field.

Reboot the communicator to apply the selected changes.

Call the main menu of the Microsoft Windows operating system by clicking the "Start" button to disable the built-in firewall notifications and go to the "Run" item.

Enter the value regedit in the Open field and confirm the execution of the command to launch the Registry Editor tool by clicking OK.

Expand the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESoftwareMicrosoftSecurity Center registry key and set the FirewallDisableNotify value to 1.

Return to the main Start menu and go to Control Panel to turn off network connection notifications in the notification area.

Open the "Connection Settings" dialog and go to the "General" tab of the dialog box that opens.

Uncheck the box next to Display the icon in the notification area when connected.

Return to the main "Start" menu again to disable the server notifications about the lack of an Internet connection and go to the "Run" item.

Enter gpedit.msc in the Open field and confirm the launch of the Group Policy Editor tool by clicking OK.

Go to Computer Configuration - Policies - Administrative Templates - Network - Network Connections and activate the Do not show the local access only network icon policy.
