It often happens that you need to find out the IP address of the computer from which you received the email. Maybe it was a virus, or something that arouses interest in the sender. In this case, you have no choice but to find out this address, having only one email in your hands.
Instructions
Step 1
Log into your mail and open this letter.
Step 2
You need to see the properties of this email, or rather its RFC header. You will see texts giving specific technical information about this letter. Look for a sequence of four groups of numbers separated by dots. Groups can contain one digit, but maximum one group can contain three. For example: 126.0.0.1 or 212.157.83.225

Step 5
Find the ip-address in this text. So, as you can see, in the last line is the same sender address, in the line that begins with the words “Received: from”, which means “received from”. You can always see this information at the beginning of the text that you need to call to find the sender's ip-address.
