Step 1
Select the network equipment that will be directly connected to the internet. If you are dealing with two Wi-Fi routers, then choose the most powerful device. Network packets from the second point will pass through it, so this router must be able to process a large amount of information.

Connect the provider's cable to the selected device. To do this, use the Internet (WAN) port. Now connect your desktop or laptop to a free LAN port. Open the web-based interface of the router, go to the WAN menu and configure the Internet connection. Reboot the device and check the network access activity.

Take a network cable and connect it to the LAN port of the router. Connect the other end of the twisted pair to the WAN (Internet) connector of the second access point. Never use a LAN channel to make this connection.

Connect the computer to the LAN port of the second Wi-Fi router using a network cable. Open the WAN menu and select the desired device operating mode. In this case, it is better to activate the automatic IP address acquisition function. When setting up Internet access, select "Direct Connection". Enter the address of the DNS server. Its value must be identical to the internal IP address of the first Wi-Fi router. Save the operating parameters of the device and reboot it.
Step 5
Create two wireless access points. Use the same types of radio signal and security. Set identical passwords. This will allow users to connect to any router. Do not use the same name for wireless networks. This can make it difficult to connect to the selected device.
