Instructions

Step 1

In most cases, the graphics settings are accessed from the menu of the installed game. Start the game on your computer in the way you are used to. In the general section of the menu, select Settings (Options, "Settings") or something similar in meaning. If the gameplay is running, press the Esc key or another key assigned by the developers to exit to the main menu.

Step 2

In the "Settings" menu, select the item Graphics ("Graphics", "Graphics Settings") and, moving through the submenu items (brightness, contrast, saturation, graphics quality, display intensity of effects, and so on) set the values you need. Keep in mind that in some cases the graphics settings are not contained in the submenu, but in the general section, they are available for change immediately. In some games you can adjust many parameters, in others only a limited number of them.

Step 3

If you cannot find the settings in the game, they may be tied to the launcher.exe file. In this case, the launch of the game will not necessarily occur through it. Find the folder with the name of the game in the Start menu and check the list of available files. If there is a launcher file, open it. If the desired file is not in the Start menu, try to find it in the directory where you installed the game. Setting up graphics through the launcher is done in the same way as setting up from the menu of a running game.

Step 4

In the event that the default settings do not affect performance, you can adjust some of the graphics parameters through the monitor settings or through the video card control panel. In the first case, enter the monitor menu and adjust the colors, brightness and other available parameters using the buttons intended for this. To open the video card control panel, click on its icon in the notification area on the taskbar or in the folder with the video card files.
