A laptop is a very convenient replacement for a home computer. You can carry it with you everywhere, take it on the road, into nature, etc. Therefore, very often laptop owners are faced with the question of how to clean it from scratches and damages.

Instructions
Step 1
Use toothpaste to remove scratches on your laptop screen by rubbing a small amount on your finger. Please note that gel paste is not suitable for this - use a regular one. Next, rub it over the scratched surface of the laptop.
Step 2
Take a napkin or handkerchief and wipe the paste off the screen. Prepare a piece of cotton wool, roll it into a ball, dab some petroleum jelly on it and rub it over the scratched areas to remove scratches from the laptop screen. Then just wipe the screen with a clean cloth or tissue.
Step 3
Prepare a damp monitor cloth and microfiber cloth to remove scratches from your laptop. Also get a special polishing paste such as Displex. Such pastes are relatively inexpensive. Clean the monitor, remove dust and grease from it.
Step 4
First of all, gently sweep or blow off the dust from the matrix, then wipe with a damp cloth and a microfiber cloth. If you don’t sweep away the dust, you may scratch the matrix. Clean the laptop lid in the same way. Next, remove the shallow scratches from the cover.
Step 5
Practice first on damaged disks before polishing your laptop screen. Apply polishing liquid to the scratch area, wipe gently. A shallow scratch should be gone in a couple of minutes. If necessary, reapply the polishing liquid to the area and wipe it again with a tissue or cotton wool.
Step 6
In the same way, you can remove scratches from your mobile phone, player and other devices. This method is not suitable for removing scratches from the LCD screen, it may remove the top layer of material and damage the screen. After you have finished polishing the laptop surface, wipe the damaged area with a napkin or microfiber cloth.
