There are many methods for combining hard disk partitions into a single unit. Unfortunately, many of them can be successfully performed only when the hard drive is fully formatted.
It is necessary
Partition Manager
Instructions
Step 1
If you need to save information stored on local disks after combining them, then use the Paragon Partition Manager utility. Download a version of this program that will work with the operating system installed on your computer. Restart your computer for the program to collect the necessary information about the hard drives.
Step 2
Launch Partition Manager and wait for it to download. Find the Wizards tab above the toolbar and open it. Go to the "Advanced Features" submenu and select "Merge Sections". Click the "Next" button in the menu that opens.
Step 3
Now select the partition to which you will attach another local drive. The shared volume will receive the letter of that particular section. Navigate to the folder where you want to save all the data on the second local drive. Now select the section that you want to join to the previous one. Remember that if an operating system is installed on this hard disk, then the system volume must always be specified as the first partitions. Otherwise, the OS will stop loading because the drive letter will change. Click the "Next" button after selecting the attached partition.
Step 4
Look at the visual display of future changes and click the "Next" button if you have set all the parameters correctly. Now just click the Finish button. Find the "Apply Pending Changes" button on the toolbar and click it. After a while, a window with additional information will appear. Click the Restart Now button. The program will continue to run the merging process in DOS mode.
Step 5
Repeat this algorithm to attach the remaining local drives to the system volume. Only two sections can be connected in one go.
