Step 1
Insert a blank CD into the drive and open Nero.
Click the File tab on the menu and select Open. In the new project window that appears, specify which disc you will burn - it will be DVD-ROM (Boot). Likewise, if you want to burn a CD, not a DVD, select the CD format in the top line and specify CD-ROM (Boot).
Step 2
Locate the Boot Image Data Source column and check the Image File line. The default line will contain the path to the boot disk image.
If you are an experienced user and want to record a different boot image, create it and specify the path to your own file by clicking “Browse” in the same line.
After all the items are selected, click "Record" and "New", choosing the maximum speed in the burn settings.
Step 3
After that, you will see an explorer window that opens, from which you need to transfer the necessary files and folders to the disc burn window. When the contents of the disc are ready, select "Burn" again. The Burn Project window will open, indicating that you want to create a CD-ROM (Boot). In this window, click the "Burn" button, choosing the maximum write speed.
Step 4
After the end of the recording, a small information window will open - review it and check for errors in the burn, and then click OK. In the burn window, select the "Done" button - your boot disk is ready and can be used at startup on any computer with the Windows operating system.
