The perfect photo must be perfect in everything. Therefore, it is a pity when a picture that claims to be perfect is spoiled by some insignificant detail. Fortunately, the arsenal of retouching tools of professional graphic editors today allows you to correct almost any defect.

It is necessary

  • - Adobe Photoshop;
  • - a file with the original image.

Instructions

Step 1

Load the original image into Adobe Photoshop. From the menu, select File and "Open …" (you can press Ctrl + O instead). Specify the required file in the Open dialog. Click the "Open" button.

Step 2

Remove details of the image by replacing them with other fragments. Activate the Clone Stamp Tool. Adjust the parameters of its work by choosing the diameter, hardness and opacity of the brush (this is done in the window that opens after clicking on the Brush control in the top panel). Press the Alt key. Click with the mouse on the point, which will be the starting position for obtaining the cloned fragment of the image. Release Alt. Move the cursor over the part to be deleted. Click or paint over it. Repeat this step until you get the desired result, changing the position of the source of the replacement image if necessary.

Step 3

Remove small details that are defects that do not stand out strongly against a uniform background with "healing" tools. Activate the Healing Brush Tool or Spot Healing Brush Tool. Customize them by choosing brush options. Use tools on the details of the image. The principle of working with the Healing Brush Tool is similar to that described for the Clone Stamp Tool in the previous step. Using the Spot Healing Brush Tool is even easier - just click on the parts to remove.

Step 4

Parts of complex shapes, as well as those that are located on a non-uniform background, remove using the Patch tool. Create a selection area around the part in any convenient way. Activate the Patch Tool. With the mouse, while holding down the left key, move the selection to the place of the image, where the background is similar to that on which the part is located. Release the mouse button.

Step 5

If you need to remove details while taking into account perspective distortion (for example, removing a window from a brick wall extending into the distance), use the Vanishing Point filter. Select the item with this name in the Filter menu or press Ctrl + Alt + V. A dialogue will be displayed. Click the Create Plane Tool button in it. With the mouse, click on the four points that define the perspective. Click the Stamp Tool button. Select the brush options by changing the values in the Hardness, Diameter and Opacity fields. Then work as with a similar tool described in the second step. Click OK to apply the changes.

Step 6

Save the image. Use the "Save As …" item of the File menu or the Ctrl + Shift + S keys. Specify the file format and name in the dialog that appears. Click the Save button.
