Adding a hyperlink is a fairly convenient way to create links in the text to a particular resource on the Internet, a file, a piece of text. It's also a pretty handy feature when composing text content.

Step 1
Find an object that will later refer to a particular resource when you press the key. It can be either a piece of text, or any letter or word, image, etc. - any content of the document. Select it by clicking the left mouse button and select the "Hyperlink" menu located in the standard Microsoft Office Word toolbar.
Step 2
Decide on the object to which the hyperlink will be made - it can be any address on the Internet, a file on a computer, or a bookmark in the text. Please note that the first option is appropriate if you are using the document on a computer with an existing Internet connection, and the second - on the same computer where the file is located.
Step 3
If you need to add a hyperlink to any resource on the Internet, copy its address and paste it into the file / URL link menu. In this case, your text will be highlighted in blue; to go to the address, you will only need to click on it with the left mouse button.
Step 4
To add a hyperlink to a file on your computer, click the Browse button next to the Link to File / URL menu. Select the path to any file on your hard disk, in the binding window specify the object that opens when you click. Please note that this function may not be available on other computers in the absence of a similar file with the same address.
Step 5
If you want to add a hyperlink to a bookmark in the text, be sure to add it earlier. If not, add them using the "Insert" menu, after placing the cursor at a certain position in the text. Click on the "Browse" button next to the "Name of the object in the document" field and in the bookmark window that appears, select the one you need. Enter the name of the bookmark that will be navigated to in the document by clicking on the hyperlink.
