Step 1

To free startup from unnecessary programs, you need to configure it and periodically monitor it. To check if the problem of a long computer boot up is really oversaturation with autorun programs, you can click on the arrow on the right of the taskbar. A list of shortcuts will appear - this is autorun and, if it is large enough, then this is most likely the reason for the system freezing.

In this case, go to the "Start" - "All Programs" - "Startup" menu. If you click on it, then the programs included in the autorun will appear. Here you can delete everything, you should not be afraid, not the programs themselves are deleted, but only their automatic loading.

Then you need to start the command line: press Win + R and type the command "msconfig".

The "System Configuration" window will open, you need to go to the "Startup" tab. Here is a complete list of programs participating in autorun. Study it carefully and uncheck those programs that are not essential for you when you boot your computer. These can be e-mail, games, instant messengers, skype, etc. If the name of the program is unfamiliar, it is better not to disable it, you can reopen the arrow at the bottom of the taskbar and recognize it by its shortcut. Do not uncheck the antivirus program, it is required when the system starts up.

When the checkboxes are removed from unnecessary programs, you must click "Apply" and "OK". The operating system will ask you to restart your computer, click "Restart".
