Basic aspects of formatting
Of course, in order for the presentation of the material to be at a high level, the text on the page must be aligned and the appropriate spacing between the lines must be set, that is, the position of the text on the page must be changed. In order to change the default values, you just need to select the word or text fragment to be changed. Then you need to select the parameters you need for alignment. New values are set on the "Home" tab, where there is a "Paragraph" field.
There are several buttons on the "Paragraph" field, thanks to which you can align the text: left-aligned, centered, right-aligned, and also wide-aligned. Alignment is carried out by clicking the left mouse button.
Spacing can be of two types: between lines and between paragraphs. On the corresponding icon ("Line spacing") in the "Paragraph" field, you can easily select the necessary values or set your own. After selecting the text to be changed, it is necessary to select the "Line spacing" button, after which a menu will appear where the user will be asked to change the spacing between lines and between paragraphs. It should also be noted that absolutely all values in Microsoft Word can be set independently.
You can set your own values in the same "Paragraph" field, where the arrow button is located in the lower right corner of the field, and after clicking the panel will appear. In the panel that appears, you can set your own parameters and see the result.
Indents and tabs
An important aspect of all text formatting is indentation and indentation. Indents are used to highlight the first line of a paragraph, and the indentation is what is called a "negative indent". If the indentation of the paragraph changes, then the paragraph will shift to the right. The overhang, in turn, will move the first line of the paragraph to the left. You can easily change the indent and indentation values in the Paragraph panel. In order to change the parameters, you need to use the "increase indent" and "decrease indent" buttons.
