Step 1
Open My Computer. Find the "Service" section. Open it and select the "Folder Options" tab. Go to "File Types". Further in the list, find the "Device" column by scrolling through it a little. Click the button below the Advanced button. A window will open where it says "Change Icon" at the top. Click on it and change. Click OK to save the changes. Reboot your computer.
Step 2
To change icons, as well as icons and cursors, you can use the Microangelo program. Download it on the Internet and install it on your computer. It works quickly. The following item will appear in the context menu - Appearence. Go into it and select the icon of interest. Save the changes so that it changes. You can make disk icons on the desktop as follows. Right click on an empty space. Click on the "Properties" tab. A window with settings will open. Select the tab named "Desktop". Click on "Desktop Settings". A window will open where you can change any icons.
Step 3
Start the MicroGerakL program. In the "Toolbar" find the image with the drive. Click on it. You will see a window with the name "Change icons for disks". There will be a "Disk" column. Select the disk you want to change the image of. Click on it with the arrow. The Icons section will open. Click the button where there will be three dots and it says "Browse". A folder will open with new icons for the disc. Open what you like. If everything is ready, click "Change". The disk icon will change. If no changes have occurred, right-click and select the "Update" tab. You can restart your computer. In addition, this program allows you to use the icons that were downloaded on the Internet for changing. To do this, add them to the Icons folder, and then use them to change.
