You can activate the new iPad through the device itself, but on condition that there is currently an available Internet connection from it. If there are no such conditions, activation via iTunes will come to the rescue.

Instructions
Step 1
Install iTunes on your computer. You can download the utility from the Apple website in the iTunes section. Please note that this software is distributed free of charge. The installation process will not take more than five minutes, and once completed, the computer will have to be restarted. In the future, do not forget to update iTunes, tk. newer versions of iOS on iPad require newer versions of software to interact successfully.
Step 2
Hold the power button on your iPad for a few seconds to boot the device. On the welcome screen, select the interface language and the region in which you live. Connect the device using a cable to your computer. Insert the cable into iPad carefully to avoid damaging the connector. After a successful connection, iTunes will launch on the computer and detect the connected device.
Step 3
On the main activation page, where a greeting is written and a small description of what needs to be done, click the "Next" button. Read the license agreement and check the corresponding box. Activation will not continue without your consent. Click Next again. iTunes will begin registration and upon completion will notify you that the activation was successful.
Step 4
After syncing your device with the program, disconnect iPad from your computer and continue with the settings. The next step is setting up geolocation. You can skip it to activate the product as soon as possible. Moreover, this function can be connected later in the general settings of the iPad, when the device will work in full mode.
Step 5
Agree to the terms of use and opt out of sending error messages from your device to Apple. You should abandon the option, because, regardless of your decisions, its activity will "eat up" the established traffic. But it is worth registering an Apple ID right away, unless, of course, you have an account yet. This account is shared across all Apple apps. In the final step, choose to start using iPad like a new device or restore an iCloud backup.
