On the Apple iPad, you can create folders for storing programs, provided that the device is running iOS 4.2.1 or later.
Instructions
Step 1
Apple's iOs operating system uses program and file organization technologies that are significantly different from Microsoft Windows. On iPad, a folder is a collection of apps that don't move anywhere. In the usual Windows, a pop is first created and then the necessary files are transferred to it.
Step 2
Find the programs on your iPad that you would like to be grouped into a folder. Place your finger on one of the icons and hold until the icons begin to shake. This action is also used to remove apps from iPad. Take one of the icons of the selected programs with your finger and drag it to another. A line will appear offering a name for the folder to be created.
Step 3
Accept the name suggested by the system or enter your own. Please note that a name that is too long will not be fully reflected on the tablet screen. It is better to choose a short and understandable name, for example "Games", "Cards", "Office", "Children", etc.
Step 4
Note that you cannot create folders within a folder on iPad. In addition, no more than twenty programs can be combined. The main purpose of creating folders on an iPad is to make it easier to find the app you want and save space on your desktop. They do not in any way affect the placement of information in the device's memory.
Step 5
To delete a folder on the iPad, go into it, having previously activated the shake icon mode. All icons must be dragged back to the desktop one by one. After moving the last icon, the folder will disappear automatically. It is more correct to call this process not deleting, but disbanding the folder.
Step 6
If you want to create a folder for one program on the iPad, then first combine the two applications, and then move one of them back to the desktop. Thus, you will get a folder with one program.
