AIDA64 is a very convenient program for diagnosing and monitoring a computer. It will not only help you find out the version of DirectX installed on the system, but also show which version of this component is supported by the video card installed on the computer. You can find a trivial version of this program and use it for free or pay for it for a while.

Install the program on your computer. After installation, launch it. In the left window of the program, find the "Operating System" parameter. Left-click on the arrow next to it. Select "Operating System" from the pop-up menu again. Further in the right window find the section "Component versions". There's a DirectX line in there. You can find out not only the version, but also other parameters.

You can also find out the DirectX version supported by the video adapter using this program. After starting the program, select the "Display" component in the right window. Next select "GPU". In the window that appears, find the "Graphics Processor Properties" section. In this section, find the DirectX Hardware Support option.
