  • - Gens emulator.

Instructions

Step 1

The console emulator is a kind of program with which you can run games that were developed for the console on your computer. Each console has its own emulator, or rather several. Next, we will consider the process of setting up graphics in emulators for the most popular consoles in the past.

Step 2

The first emulator to be reviewed is called VirtuaNES. It can be used to run games for 8-bit consoles (SUBOR, Dendy) and many of their other analogs. It should be noted right away that all emulators for video consoles are free. They are very easy to find on the Internet and download. VirtuaNES does not require installation. Just unzip the archive to any folder. To start the emulator, double-click the left mouse button on the VirtuaNES.exe executable file. The emulator will start.

Step 3

At the top of the program window, select Option, and then in the menu that opens - Graphics. In the window that appears, find the line Resolution, which means "Resolution". Set the maximum value supported by your monitor. Now find the Full screen section. Check the box next to the Sync drawing line. Close the current window. Then open Option again. But this time choose Full screen. The emulator is now in full screen mode. You can run games, which will now run in full screen mode.

Step 4

The second emulator to be covered allows you to run games from the Sega Gens console. The emulator is called Gens. Run the program. Select Graphics from the main menu of the program. Next, in the menu that opens, check the box next to the VSync line. Then also check the box next to the Sprite Limit parameter. Then select Full screen. The emulator will open in full screen mode. Consequently, the games that you will launch will also open in this mode.
