Instructions
Step 1
Typically, mobile computer manufacturers post verified driver versions on their official websites. Visit the resource you want, open the download menu or use the search bar. Enter your mobile computer model.
Step 2
Select the appropriate file bundle from the options provided. Refer to the description of the device for which these drivers are intended. Pay attention to the name of the operating system in which these files will work. Download the selected drivers.
Step 3
Open Device Manager. To do this, go to the "Advanced System Settings" menu or open the properties of the "Computer" item from the "Start" menu.
Step 4
Find your sound card in the list of connected devices. Open the properties of this hardware and select the "Driver" tab. Click the Update button. In the new menu, select the "Install from a list or specific location" item.
Step 5
Select the archive downloaded from the site and click the "Open" button. Wait for the driver update procedure to complete.
Step 6
If you did not find drivers on the laptop manufacturer's website, visit the official resource of the developers of the sound card you are using. Try to find the files you are interested in.
Step 7
In a situation where you could not find the files you need on your own, download the Sam Driver or Driver Pack Solution programs. Run the selected utility. Wait while the program automatically scans the connected equipment and selects the necessary files.
Step 8
Highlight those driver kits that are specific to your sound card, such as Sound Realtek and Sound Others. Click the Update button and select Install Selected Files.
Step 9
After updating the drivers for your sound card, restart your computer. Adjust the settings for the sound card.
