Basically, with public access to a computer, there is a need to hide certain folders from prying eyes. There are several very simple ways to solve this problem.
Instructions
Step 1
We select the folder we need and, by right-clicking, select the "Properties" tab. We put a tick in front of the inscription "Hidden". Click “OK”. Ready.
Step 2
You can use a slightly different way. After selecting the folder to be hidden, and clicking on it with the right mouse button, go to "Properties". Select the "Settings" tab. Click on the "Change icon" button. In the icons, select an empty cell.
Step 3
Right-click on the same folder again. We select "Rename".
Step 4
Press and hold the “ALT” button on the keyboard, then press the 0160 keys. Numbers must be entered using additional keys (located on the right side of the keyboard). Releasing the “ALT” button, we get an empty inscription. The folder is now hidden.
