Most of all existing laptops contain a hidden partition as part of the hard disk. It is designed to restore the operating system. The size of this section depends on the brand of the laptop manufacturer. As a rule, this value is about 10 Gb. You cannot see this section in the file manager or explorer, it can only be seen in special programs that are created to work with the file system of your disk. With all the conveniences, working with a hidden section causes a lot of inconvenience, therefore, it would be better to create your own hidden section. Read on how to do this.

Step 1
When installing Acronis True Image Home, select "Full installation".
Step 2
It is best to start creating a hidden partition with a fresh installation of the operating system. Start Acronis True Image 2009. When you start this program for the first time, you will see a window in which you must click Cancel.

Click the Tools menu, select Acronis Secure Zone.
Step 4
In the window that opens, check the box next to your disk, the space of which you will give to create a hidden partition. The new hidden partition will be called Acronis Secure Zone. It is best to use the free disk space D. After selecting the disk partition, click the "Next" button.
Step 5
Use the slider to specify the amount of disk space that you can allocate for the needs of the hidden partition. Check the box "Activate". After completing these actions, click on the "Summary data" button. The "Activate" item indicates the activation of the function of restoring the operating system by pressing the F11 button.
Step 6
Click the "Proceed" button to create a hidden partition, after the operation is completed, a small window will appear with a message about the successful creation of the hidden partition.
