Particular attention is always paid to the password policy, only by adhering to it, you can really delimit access to information, protecting your configuration from prying eyes. The configuration is selected when the operating system is loaded, and to enter any configuration, simply click on the corresponding icon in the welcome window. In some cases, it is recommended to make additional protection, which would put other users in your configuration. Especially if you are the only one with administrator rights.
Instructions
Step 1
From the Start menu, open Control Panel, then User Accounts. Select Change account and then the required account.
Step 2
After you left-click on the desired icon, a menu will open, thanks to which you can perform the following procedures:
• Change of name.
• Create (Change) password.
• Remove password.
• Change of image - change of a small picture-icon, which symbolizes each user.
• Change account type - change access rights for each user (Administrator or Restricted account).
• Removing an account type.
Step 3
At this stage, we are interested in the Create password item, select it. You will see the section Create a password for your account. Enter your password in the blank window. Make sure your password meets all security requirements. The password is considered strong: if it consists of at least eight characters; does not contain a username or valid name; significantly different from the passwords used previously. After you have entered the password, confirm it on one more line. And click the Create Password button.
