Microsoft Outlook is a mail client for the Windows operating system. If errors start to occur while the program is running or you have lost important data, you can try to restore the program.

Step 1
Review the error report that occurs while running Microsoft Outlook, and note the path to the lost or crashing file that is listed there. Exit the application. Enter the Start menu for your operating system and go to Run to invoke the Command Prompt tool. Specify the following path for the executable file: C: / Program Files / Common Files / System / Map / LanguageCode / scanpst.exe. Specify the corresponding identifier of your system version as the "LanguageCode" value (for Russian - 1049). Press Enter to execute the command.

Start Microsoft Outlook by logging into it using your profile. In the program menu, select the "List of folders" item and go to the line "Recovered personal folders". Here you need to create a new PST file. Then open the Lost & Found folder. This contains recovered copies of the items. Drag them to Recovered Personal Folders. Restart the program to update its file libraries. With the subsequent launch, the data integrity will be restored, the error message will stop appearing.
Step 4
Try to repair Microsoft Outlook using the System Restore service. It is located in the System Tools folder, which can be found in the Start menu. Specify the restore point you need (the last working state of Microsoft Outlook) and perform the operation. After a while, the computer will restart and the mail client will return to its normal working state.
