To a person who is just starting to master the work on a computer, a lot seems difficult. He is afraid to do something wrong, to press the wrong button or key: what if something terrible will happen because of this? Of course, if you work carelessly, you can knock off the settings, but if you are afraid to touch something, why bother to sit down at the computer at all? Take, for example, a text: a Russian-speaking user is used to the Cyrillic alphabet, but you can also enter English words from the keyboard. Let's find out how to enter Latin letters.

Step 1
The "Language bar" is responsible for switching languages. It's in the notification area on the taskbar. Hard? Not at all. Look at the bottom edge of the screen. The panel at the bottom is the "Taskbar". On the left is the "Start" button, with its help you get access to the programs installed on the computer and give the system various commands. To the right of the Start button is the Quick Launch bar, which may contain the icons of the applications you use most often.
Step 2
The central part of the "Taskbar" contains information about which programs are currently running by the user. The far right side of the panel is the notification area. It displays the clock, applications that start automatically when the system boots, connected devices, as well as some tools that help you work on your computer. If the notification area is collapsed, click on the arrow icon and see it in its entirety.
Step 3
An icon in the form of a Russian flag (changes to the American flag) or an icon with the letters RU (changes to EN) is the "Language Bar". If you don't see this icon even when you expand the notification area, customize its display. Click on the "Taskbar" with the right mouse button, in the drop-down menu select the item "Toolbars", in the submenu set the marker on the item "Language bar" (just click on the line with the left mouse button).
Step 4
To switch to the input of Latin letters, click on the icon with the left mouse button and with the left mouse button in the expanded menu, click on the inscription EN (English / American). The icon will change its appearance, and your keyboard will be ready to enter Latin letters. To switch to Latin keyboard typing, press alt="Image" and Shift or Ctrl and Shift - one of them will certainly work. This key combination depends on the input settings on a particular computer.
