Mirroring in the graphics editor Adobe Photoshop is classified as a special case of arbitrary transformation. Nevertheless, in several sections of the editor menu, two separate lines with commands for mirroring the image in two planes (horizontal and vertical) are placed. There are several ways to access these commands.

Graphic editor Adobe Photoshop
Instructions
Step 1
Expand the "Image" section in the menu of the graphics editor if you want to mirror the entire document as a whole, including all graphic, text layers, masks, etc. In this section, go to the "Image Rotation" subsection, where you will find two mirroring commands - "Flip Canvas Horizontally" and "Flip Canvas Vertically". Select one of them, and Photoshop will carry out the necessary transformations of all layers of the document.
Step 2
Click in the layers palette you want if you only want to mirror its contents, not the entire document. Then open the section "Editing" in the menu and go to the subsection "Transform". It contains more transformation tools than they were in the list of the corresponding subsection in the "Image" section, and the commands "Flip horizontally" and "Flip vertically" that you need are placed at the very end of the list. Click the desired one and the image in the selected layer will be reflected in the corresponding plane.
Step 3
You can use an alternative course of action described in the previous step. To do this, too, first select the layer you want to mirror by clicking the mouse. Then press the M button on your keyboard to enable the Rectangular Marquee Tool. This can be done by clicking on the corresponding icon on the toolbar. Then right-click on the image and select the "Free Transform" item in the pop-up context menu. A frame with anchor points will appear around the outline of the image of this layer, but you do not need to do anything with it, but you need to right-click the picture again. This time, the drop-down menu will contain all the items that you saw in the "Transform" section in the previous step, including the desired "Flip Horizontal" and "Flip Vertical". Select the command with the desired mirroring direction.
