A special utility "Magnifier" of the Windows operating system allows you to enlarge the image on the screen in a specially designated area. If you have been using the magnifier for some time, but you need to remove it from the screen, perform one of the operations described.
Instructions
Step 1
Right-click on the area of the screen where the magnified image is reflected. In the drop-down menu that appears, select the word hide.
Step 2
Also, using the context menu called by the right mouse button, you can completely exit the magnifying glass mode. To do this, move the mouse arrow over the word "Exit" and press the left button.
Step 3
When you use Magnifier, you may have a window called Magnifier Options on top of other windows on your desktop. At the bottom of this window is the "Exit" button. Pressing it will exit the magnifier mode.
Step 4
At the bottom of the monitor screen is the "Taskbar". Find a rectangle on it that says Magnifier Options. Right-click this rectangle and select Close. Magnifier will close.
Step 5
If for some reason your computer has become slow to perform functions at the time the magnifier is working, you can turn it off using the "Task Manager". Press the keyboard shortcut Ctrl, alt="Image" and Del at the same time. After a few seconds, the Task Manager window will appear. Select the Processes tab at the top of the window if it is not selected. You will see a list of running applications and special computer programs. Find magnify.exe in the list and select it. Click on the "End Process" button in the lower right corner of the window.
Step 6
The magnifier may have been added to the startup of the operating system. In order to remove it from there, you will need to go to the startup options. Click the "Start" button and the word "Run" in the window that appears. The program launch window will appear. In the field available for entering text, type the word msconfig and click "OK". The system settings window will open, in which there is a "Startup" tab. Using the slider, scroll through the list of applications and uncheck the item corresponding to the magnifier.
