Step 1

To restore the lost tabs of the Mozilla Firefox browser, open the main system menu by clicking the "Start" button and go to the "All Programs" item. Expand the Accessories link and launch the Windows Explorer application. Expand the Tools menu on the top toolbar of the application window and select Folder Options. Go to the "View" tab in the dialog box that opens and apply the check box in the "Show hidden files and folders" line.

Follow the path drive_name: Documents and Settingsuser_nameApplication DataMozillaFirefoxProfilesxxxxxxxx.default. Please note that the xxxxxxxx value can be anything, and there can be several such subfolders. Step 3

Delete the file named sessionstore.bak and change the file name sessionstore-ordinal.js to just sessionstore.js. Restart your browser (for Mozilla Firefox).

To return the Opera web browser tabs, navigate to drive_name: Documents and Settingsuser_nameApplication DataOperaOperasessions and delete the file named autosave.win. Change the file name autosave.win.bak to autosave.win. Save your changes and restart your browser (for Opera).

To restore the tabs of the Google Chrome browser, go to the directory drive_name: Documents and SettingsusernameLocal SettingsApplication DataGoogleChromeUser DataDefault. Call the context menu of the Bookmarks file by clicking the right mouse button and select the "Open with" command.
