Step 1
Launch the Skype program on your computer, enter your username and password and wait for the personal settings to load in the system. Open the "Tools" menu from the top panel, go to the security settings and select "Clear chat history". Apply and save your changes.

In order to disable the recording of the history of conversations and chats in the Skype program on your computer, open the settings and go to the section of chats and SMS messages, then select the option "Do not save history". Apply and save your changes.

If your version of Skype does not support this option for deleting the conversation history, use the manual deletion. Since all frequent and call records in Skype are recorded to your hard drive as a file, you just need to find it on your computer.

To do this, enable the display of hidden system elements in the folder appearance settings from the corresponding control panel menu. In the same place, in addition to enabling the display of hidden files and folders, uncheck the "Hide extensions for registered file types" option. Apply and save your changes.

Open the "My Computer" menu and go to your local drive. Select the “Documents And Settings” folder, then go to the directory owned by the computer administrator. In “Application Data” go to the directory of the Skype program, then delete the file with the.dbb extension from the folder with your nickname.

Next, close the explorer and open the Skype program (it must be closed during the manual deletion of files), select the login to your account and check if the call and message history has been deleted.
