You can also check the amount of RAM using the command line. In order to find this function, you should go to the "Start" menu again. Next, select the "All programs" section, and in it - "Standard", then click on the "Command line" item. In the window that appears, enter the command Msinfo32.exe. Press the Enter key to confirm the action. In the System Information section, look for Installed RAM.

For computers running a 32-bit Windows operating system, there is an additional way to check the amount of RAM if you think it is more than 4 GB. This is due to the fact that such operating systems cannot correctly display information, and also do not use more than the specified size (this is a feature of their internal device).

Download from the internet and install the free AIDA64 Extreme Edition application on your hard drive. It is with its help that you can see complete information about RAM modules. Run the program. After the utility window appears, in the right part of it, left-click on the "Computer" section, and then select the "General information" function. In a new tab, you will see the "Motherboard" item. Click on it. In the program, the value near the inscription "System memory" shows the size of the RAM in the context of each module.
